Vandaag ga ik wat patronen met jullie delen die ik dit weekend heb uitgewerkt. Ik heb jullie laatst verteld over het prachtige Japanse Haakboek. Ik heb wat patronen geprobeerd en daarna een eigen draai gegeven aan de patronen. Oh, wat geeft zo'n mooi boek veel inspiratie!
Nu heb ik er onderzetters van gemaakt maar je kan er natuurlijk van alles van maken, een sjaal of loper en als je kleine rondjes maakt om de middenstukken op te vullen kun je er misschien wel een deken of omslagdoek van maken.

Today I am going to share some patterns with you, I worked them out this weekend. I told you about the Japanase crochetbook the other day and I tried out some of those patterns. After getting loads of inspiration I gave my own twist to the patterns and these coaster is what I came up with. But you could make a lot of toher things like a scarf, a tablerunner or when you make small rounds to fill the gaps you could make a blanket or wrap with these shapes!
Dit garen ken je nog niet van me! Ik heb dit garen vorige week binnengekregen. Het is Rico Cotton blend, een 50% mix tussen acryl en katoen en hoewel ik veel met dit soort garen heb gewerkt in het verleden is dit wel een hele mooie kwaliteit, heerlijk zacht, split bijna niet, en kijk.... eens.... naar.... de.... kleuren! Ik heb er 7 uitgezocht en ben er maar wat blij mee! Ze zijn lekker fel en vooral erg diep van kleur. Zo mooi!

This is new yarn! I recieved it last week and couldn't wait to make soemthing with it! It is the Rico Cotton blend, a 50-50% mix between cotton and acrylic and isn't it absolutely gorgeous?? I have worked with a lot of cotton-acrylic blends last year but I must say that this is really nice and it stands out! It is soft and I can safely say that it doesnt split unless you frogg your work ten times or more. And ...just...look....at...the...colours!!! I choose only 7 colours but aren't they absolutely fantastic?? There are only a couple of bright colours in this range and I bought them all but I am so happy with it! The colours are very deep and bright. Love it!
