Acryl garen**Acrylic yarn

Hoi allemaal** Hi everyone!

**
Not much nice hooky time around here lately, I had some troubles with my right shoulder and I could hardly crochet. Pfew, that was some thing to get use to! No crocheting! It felt wierd sitting on the sofa without my lovely warm ripple on my lap.
Thankfully it does feel a bit better now.

I did do some work on the Ripple but not that much, still, sharing pictures is always nice, right?

**
I do crochet, on sme small projects to relieve my shoulder . Like this scarf for the coat of my little girl.

**
Yay, I made a ripple=-scarf!I love the way the coat and the scarf match!

**
The scarf yarn is a Rico yarn I recently ordered. It is 100% acrylic yarn and is very soft. It is almost as soft as the merinowool. It's called Rico baby classic and it is lovely to work with. Now for sale in the shop!

**
I also use this yarn for another project I am currently working on. A babyblanket for a friend of mine who is due in 10 weeks. It's a Ripple with a twist. More about that later!

Mushroom Kingdom - I love autumn!

 **
Last week the weather was with scattered showers and sunny intervals, some days we could make a fabulously refreshing walk in the forest and on other days we stayed inside with a warm cup of tea and some hooky time for me. Today we had a wonderful walk in the forest nearby.

**
It only takes us a walk of 5 minutes to each the edge of the forest. This forest is one of my favourite subjects for one of my hobby's; photography.

**
The colours of autumn give me so much inspiration and I always unload when I walk in the forest. The kids run alondside us and jump across ditches. I love to take pictures of the forest in autumn. It is so beautiful with all those colours. Today I focussed on mushrooms as you can see..

**
So funny in what strange shapes mushrooms come!

**
I made a small space on our window-sill for some autumny objects, I also made a crafty crochet tree to spice it up a bit. Covering the wire with merino yarn was a tedious job but very rewarding. The kids love the tree and so do I. Several Playmobil figurines camped underneath the tree.
I crocheted some leaves and a little pumpkin and hung a couple of beads to the tree.

**
And my Ripple? Still going strong! I joined the Attic24- Little tin bird Flickr Group, any of you Ripple-chocheters want to join?

Haken als ontspanning ** Crochet to relax

Heerlijk!

As you know I haven't been blogging much the last couple of months. The parents among you will recognise that it can be rough at times, combining family, work, all kinds of obligations and trying to get some time for yourself.
Because crochet means relaxation for me it is a welcome break from all the chaos!  That why I started a Ripple blanket, the pattern  (Lucy's neat Ripple pattern) is very repetative and that makes it very relaxing to work on. I use the STylecraft yarn I recently bought online.
